Lawrence Public Library
This project is a conceptual brand revitalization assignment, not a real-world rebrand. The Lawrence Public Library is community-driven and
offers a wide range of resources and programming beyond checking out books. The existing identity, however, does not fully reflect the scope
of what the library offers.

This revitalization focuses on using clear communication to highlight the library’s many resources while remaining welcoming to all audiences. The updated brand voice centers on the idea of the “spot,” a nod to the visual identity and the library’s role as a shared community space. This motif appears throughout the system, reinforcing the message that the Lawrence Public Library is your spot. The resulting design system balances playfulness and information, creating consistent, clear communication that invites everyone to the Lawrence Public Library.
