To document the trip, I carried one or both of my cameras everywhere we went. In Loveland, I explored quirky old neighborhoods filled with vernacular typography, while in Pocatello, my focus was the old downtown, full of neon signage and ghost signs from businesses that were often
no longer operating. The design approach lets the photography and writing shine with humor, allowing the typography to take center stage or play a subtle supporting role. Small details, such as date, location, and icons referencing the photographs, add extra layers of context and interest.
