Clash Deli Branding
Clash Deli is a restaurant brand identity developed from the randomly assigned prompts: punk, retro, and irreverent. Inspired by skateboarding culture, graffiti, vintage typography, and subway systems, Clash’s visual identity re-imagines a classic retro deli with a playful, rebellious twist. This project explores a cohesive and energetic identity that extends across way-finding, uniforms, signage, packaging, and menu design. The visual language blends hand-drawn illustration with digital graphics and a custom logotype. Illustrations began as pen-and-paper sketches, which were then refined digitally in Photoshop and Procreate. The Clash logotype was hand-drawn and then vectorized in Illustrator. Additionally, all mockups were created entirely as vector assets in Illustrator, with menus designed in InDesign and placed within the mockups to demonstrate real-world execution.
